There was an old lady
A puppet drama created and performed by Jennifer Levine
There Was An Old Lady is a delightfully simple handmade puppet piece based on the American folksong about the woman (of a certain age) who once swallowed a fly (for mysterious reasons).

Audiences quickly key into the repeating verses and are singing along within moments. They love watching the soft sculputre old lady actually eat the hand puppet animals with her giant mouth!

This show is great for birthday parties and outdoor events. Ages 2 and up.

Reviews

""This show is well thought-out, well designed and age appropriate. There are opportunities for the audience to participate both with words and actions. It is a familiar story for almost all children, but the puppets and singing keep all the children engaged. The show builds cognitive skills and
invites opportunites to repeat the story after the show is over. Great fun! Jenn, Thanks again. It was wonderful.!"
