2nd Pen and Pudding Project |

Jennifer Levine and Scott Massarsky will be creating Pen and ink drawings to sell on the spot, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Pequannock Food Pantry. Affordable art for a good cause!
This will be a really fun and exciting event at a really nice and cozy community cafe. We will also have other works to sell including prints, greeting cards and holiday themed pieces. This is a great chance to get some last minute holiday gifts while giving to those who really need it in this season. The artists are lowering their prices specifically for Pen and Pudding so come out to support local artists for a good cause!

"Puppets are Fun" at Yantacaw Elementary school |

On October 16th, I led a professional development workshop for 30 teachers at the Yantacaw school in Nutley, NJ. The workshop included a demonstration, puppet making and small group work.
Carol Gurney, workshop coordinator said:
"Everyone who attended the workshop had a great time and came away with many useful ideas. The workshop was not only fun, but a way to enhance the literacy program in the classroom."

As the weather turns, I'm in the studio working on a bunch of new projects. "Shtetl Wedding" is a new puppet drama I am developing as a sequel to my show, "The Miracle on Monroe Street."
In addition to creating new paintings and drawings every free moment, I'm working on a children's book about a whale's tooth that mysteriously shows up on a local beach. Stay tuned!
