Have you ever wondered how an artist proceeds from concept to canvas?

Come visit the studio of Montclair puppeteer and artist Jennifer Levine on the first three Sundays in August (Aug 3, 10, 17) from noon to 5 p.m. and see for yourself. The studio address is 34 College Ave. in Upper Montclair-corner of Amherst and College. No charge, no reservation necessary.

"I want to share the excitement of a work in progress with the community," Levine said.

Among the items on display are an array of her handpainted folk art work including drawings, paintings on wood , painted furniture and her original coloring book.
